IIT Software Engineers' Community has successfully organized Independence Cup-2019 on April 04, 2019 at Institute of Information Technology, University of Dhaka premises. This day long program started with singing the national anthem followed by a programming contest and a quiz competition . A total of 27 teams participated in the programming contest. 40 contestants participated in the quiz competition . The winner of the INDEPENDENCE CUP 2019 Programming Contest is "Team Code Bots". Top 3 teams of the programming contest- 1. Team Code Bots 2.Team Avro Coders 3. Team faltu Handlers "The Rising Star" award was given to "Team Gentlemen of IIT" for the best first year team in the Independence Cup- 2019 programming contest. Top 3 winners of quiz competition : 1. Yasin Sazid ( BSSE 10th batch) 2.Md. Rakib Trofder ( BSSE 11th batch) 3. Samiha Tahsin Noshin (BSSE 11th batch) Winners of various events of the ceremony was given away prizes at the end of the day by the Director and the respected teachers of Institute of Information Technology . Previous committee members came to the event and inspired the new committee members. Certificate was given to them for their outstanding work for IITSEC by the director. The program ended with a charming photo session.
