The Post Graduate Diploma in Information Technology (PGDIT) is a one-year program for graduates in any discipline on the principles and practice of Information Technology. The program will be conducted by the Institute of Information Technology (IIT) of the University of Dhaka (DU). The PGDIT program is offered mainly to the graduates who are willing to work in ICT domain or the graduates whose current or future career could be accelerated through advanced knowledge in ICT. The classes of PGDIT program will be held in the evening after regular office hours.

Admission Notice, Session: PGDIT 2025-2026 (Spring)

Applications are invited from prospective graduates desiring to enroll in PGDIT program, to be offered by IIT, University of Dhaka. The PGDIT program is offered to the graduates who are willing to work in ICT domain or the graduates whose current or future career could be accelerated through advanced knowledge in ICT. Applicants must satisfy the following requirements

  • Minimum graduation in any discipline.
  • No third class/ division (or equivalent grade) in any public examination
Admission test will be held in two phases. Written examination will assess quantitative and analytical problem solving, ICT related general knowledge and English Language proficiency. Successful (written test) candidates will have to appear a viva voce for final selection to enroll in PGDIT.
