Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh(BCOLBD).

 Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka

Once again IITians showed their excellence by achieving another prize in the Blockchain Olympiad. “Blockchain Olympiad Bangladesh 2021”, a three-day ceremony, organized with support from the ICT Division of the Bangladesh Government, took place in the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre in Dhaka from 25-27 February 2021. More than 100 teams from 26 universities participated in this Olympiad. A Total of 40 teams were selected for the final round. 3 teams from the University of Dhaka were selected as the winners in different categories for solving some real-world problems and “DU NIMBUS” is one of the proud squads.

Tahlil Abser, Md Atiquer Rahman, and Nafis Fuad were the honored members of team DU NIMBUS from IIT. They got the best project prize under the identity/security category in the Blockchain Olympiad, Bangladesh (BCOLBD) 2021. Their project idea was to elucidate financial inclusion projects for calamity-affected people using a blockchain-driven private cloud solution.
