IIT, University of Dhaka

The outbreak of COVID-19 virus was declared as a pandemic and a public health emergency was called all over the world. Therefore the students and alumni of IIT raised fund for the poverty-stricken people of Bangladesh who lost their jobs and suffered from financial crisis due to the lockdown. They started this project on 25th March and got a great response from both IITians and non-IITians. A good amount of money was donated in a very short period. The donation was sent to NGOs working for the same purpose.
